在生成式 AI 的时代，最大的危险不是机器能生产语言，而是精致的语言会被错当成真正的思考。本书主张：传统的批判性思维模型——辨识预设、检查逻辑、评估证据、判断结论——已经不够。它历史上虽然珍贵，却仍属于一个「发现范式」的框架：它把预设、逻辑、事实与标准当作早已在那里、有待被找到和评判之物。本书提出一次更深的重构：把「思考」重新定义为理念世界里的一个展开过程。

SDE Critical Thinking in the GPT Era argues that the traditional model of critical thinking-identifying assumptions, checking logic, evaluating evidence, and judging conclusions-is no longer enough. While historically valuable, that model still belongs to a discovery-based framework: it treats assumptions, logic, facts, and standards as if they were already there, waiting to be found and judged. This book proposes a deeper reconstruction.
It redefines thinking not as a pile of conclusions, but as an unfolding process in the ideal world. On that basis, it develops SDE critical thinking as a new core framework for the GPT era: S for Show (how a thing shows itself), D for differential sequence, and E for entangled features.
